06 May 2010 Dear sir,

i have working with foundry industries
we are casting manufacturer.in kolhapur.

There are one enquiry from xyz party.

The xyz party give us raw material for their castings & they need labour charges invoice for this job.

this practice is new for us.

how can i make this invoice

which taxes applicable for this invoice.

how can i inword this Raw material in our primises.

pls.guide me.?

06 May 2010 Dear Vinod,
As you are both manufacturer and job worker,
you have to maintain stock register separate for both
as regards to taxes applicable , Service Tax @ 10.3% is applicable if your turnover from services exceed 10 lacs
there is no other taxes.
You have to only mention on invoice than"LABOUR CHARGES ONLY"

May i use current invoices & continues my excise Sirial Number for Labour Charges invoice.
or
i need new sirial Numbers for that labour charges invoice.

how can i inword this xyz parties excisable raw material.in my plant.

may i use 57f4 challan ?

if yes

how can i close this same challan.
because the party give me 1000 kg scrap & i give the party finish job of 850 kg.

please guide me
