31 January 2012 how to transfer the ward of the aseessee. in PAN the address is of gujarat but in income tax website it shows MUMBAI JURIDCTION.

31 January 2012 I would suggest you to make a correction application of PAN and file the same along with the correct address proof. Hopefully that should surely sort the issues.

31 January 2012 no it cant be solved by pan (NSDL) department as i asked there.

31 January 2012 You keep filed the letter received along with the PAN card which contains the "Address".
.
It seems that the Department is not making the changes promptly in its Tax Data Base.
as it takes place in PAN Data Base.
.
You may file the returns on the basis of latest changed address and simultaneously inform some body at another address for collecting your posts.

31 January 2012 You could mention the current address assuming the same should be permanent. If not i would recommend you to file the return mentioning the permanent address.

16 February 2012 The following procedure should be followed:-
1) Get your PAN address changed first
2) Make an application to the new assessing Officer with a copy to jurisdictional CIT and a copy to the present assessing officer with a copy to your present CIT for transfer of assessment records to MUMBAI
3) On transfer application Re.1/- court fee stamp must be affixed.

Your file will be transferred to MUMBAI
