28 March 2009 we give fabric for embroidery to job worker and that job worker generate bill of his creation and send our fabric back
? is service tax / vat applicable on the job work done by the jobworker
? pls tell tax rate in delhi
? our fabric is tax free delhi no excise applicable

28 March 2009 if your product is not exciseable then service tax 10.3%. if Excise applicable then no service tax on job work.

28 March 2009 if gross receipt is in excess of rs.ten lac then service tax is applicable but vat is not applicable to the job worker
