14 April 2014 Sir,

Can you please tell me that should i take the job of Back end process in operations or finance of a renowned company?
Actually i am in CS Finals and on payroll in a listed company already.

14 April 2014 actually they have not provided me with the job description. They just told me that we have opening in Back end- Operations and Finance.
It is basically the company that deals with securities.

14 April 2014 Yes…may be it’s a reconciliation job…since that’s what the back office does… then why not take it…infact, since you are doing CS, it ll help you in understanding the way securities markets function….and then probably you could shift to the compliance team or the mid office

14 April 2014 Thanks. But since am already on payroll as Assistant Manager-Legal in a company, would it be a feasible option to shift to another department? Will it help me further? Or will it be a totally new department?

The consultancy would me taking the interview and thenafter the company.

14 April 2014 See if you are in the legal dept already, it is you who needs to decide as to whether you want to continue with Corporate Legal or to shift towards compliance in securities laws…

And believe me, securities laws is also a very promising line…you can then plan a shift to a big Mutual Fund or something..

And this back office job, if you do it for sometime, will give you practical knowledge about the actual functioning of the markets and also of the products…

So you can think about it…
