does passing a professional exam ( final stage ) in third attempt affects job prospects???? please advice? does number of attempts matter???

In some companies like it does matter where in some case they specify that candidates passed in max 2 attempts shall apply. But in most organization attempts are not the criteria they assess your knowledge and experience and thats given more weightage than the no of attempts.

Number of attempts counts for entry level employment by virtue of the 'theory of elimination'.

No. of attempts matter a lot in case if its your first job, but once you gain experience knowledge matters
