30 May 2009 Yes. If the return has been filed electronically without digital signature, then it shall be treated as valid return only if acknwldgmnt is recieved by Banglore office of IT Department. If you will not send the acknwldgmnt, then it shall be treated as no return filed, even if it is of NIL income.

31 May 2009 Circular 3/2009 dated 21/5/2009 para 10 says within 30 days after the date of transmitting the return electronically ITR V shall be furnished to B'lore. Do it accordingly.
