12 December 2011 Hi,

Please someone help me to get rid off a problem. Actually I have filled my ITR 1 online this year where I had forgot to mention my Taxpayer's counterfoil details, now I have recd. my intimation letter which showing tax demand and that I have already paid. Now I trying to file rectification but I am getting problem to fill-up the details.
Like what do I need to fill in Aggregate Income Tax Liability & Total Income Tax Liability and then what are the further steps I have to take.

Please help me to get out off this.

12 December 2011 1. Logon Income tax site for efiling of income tax return.

2. Enter CPC reference no.

3. Enter CPC order date.

4. Mention the details

Enter the following serial numbers as mentioned in the Intimation from CPC Order 143(1) as under :

For AY 2009-10:
ITR 1
Aggregate income tax liability 22
Total Tax credit allowed 27

For AY 2010-11:
ITR 1
Aggregate income tax liability 18
Total Tax credit allowed 22

Just fill in the details and you will be automatically redirected.

Also open the CPC order with you once you are entering the details.

12 December 2011 before following the above mentioned steps first do the needful changes is your old ITR-1 form and generate XML file to upload.

One more suggestion check Form 26AS that your Tax credit is showing in it or not.
