Itr not processed ay 17-18

I have filed my return for FY 16-17 in May 2017 and everified on 17th May. But still the ITR is not processed. My source of income is from Salary and rental property. Just worried why it is taking so much time. As every year it will take not more than 60 days.

Bcoz, Now the situation is very difficult for GST, Aadhaar link also. So, wait and watch...

not sure how GST is linked to income-tax return processing. The returns are being processed. And they are processed randomly. There is no turn-around time specified for processing of returns. So standby.

Thanks for the reply. Was just worried as this is the 1st time I was showing my rental income.

earlier my grandmother was taking the rent so I dint show in my ITR

that is not as relevant for the e-processing. In case the department wants to verify your claims, they will send you a notice.
