Itr for new partnership firm

One of my friend is a Partner in a new partnership firm (started from 10-02-2014)& firm having NP 45700 before intt. on partner's capital. Whether ITR to be filed or not?

For Partnership firm it is mandatory to file ITR-5 electronically .In case of non-audit ,due date is 31/07/2014.
