ITR filing of deceased person by his legal heir

24 August 2025 I am going to file ITR of my Papa as legal heir for A.Y.2025-26. while creating request for legal heir registration, certain documents required to be submitted mandatorily. As I have required documents like PAN, Death certificate of deceased . now, system is asking to submit copy of the order/ notice but I have no such documents received from Income tax department after death of my father and system is not proceeding my request, as it is mandatory field. now, I am confused as to what documents to submit in this field.
please help as I want to submit ITR within due date .

24 August 2025 Legal Heir Certificate- Below mentioned documents would be accepted as Legal Heir certificate.
The legitimate heir certificate issued by the court of law
The legal heir certificate provided by the Local revenue authority
The certificate of surviving family members furnished by the local revenue authorities
The registered will
The Family pension certificate from the State/Central government.
An Affidavit in the presence of the Notary Public.

24 August 2025 Copy of the order/notice (Mandatory only if the reason for registration is 'Filing of return of income/form for period in which deceased was alive through condonation request' (or) 'A notice/order received from Income Tax Department in the name of the applicant for compliance on behalf of a deceased')
