Can I file the ITR for the year 2010-11. I have paid excess IT and want my excess paid tax back.

yes. you can file Income tax return for FY-2010-11 till 31st March 2012

The last date to file IT Return for AY 2010-11 is 31-3-2012.So you can file ITR for that year.
06 March 2012
Although you can file the return upto 31.3.2012 but penalty of Rs. 5,000/- may be levied for late filing of return.
