Is it compulsory to file an IT Return Online for salaried persons from now or can we file it Manually as well for the AY 2012-13.

You can file it manually but e-filing helps in quicker processing of refunds.

If the total income of the assessee exceeds Rs. 10 lakhs, then it is mandatory to file the return electronically.
