i am filing ITR-1. i have recd Saving bank a/c interest rs 8000/- and PPF interest rs 10000/-. its necessary to show in my return above interest as income.

yes, you have to show it.

Yes you need to show but you can not file ITR1 since PPF interest is more than Rs 5000. PPF interest is exempted income and if exempted income is more than Rs 5000 you have to file ITR2.
