06 December 2013 I have filed ITR 4s for AY 2013-14 for my husband claiming full refund of the TDS amount which is matching with the 26AS.He has not received the full refund.I have already filed rectification twice.Now he has received an intimation u/s 143(1) confirming the refund amount.What action can be taken now to claim the full refund?

06 December 2013 i) Please check once again the figures in 26AS and their corresponding status of booking is 'F'.

ii) Also check your tax computation with intimation u/s 143(1).

iii) If the status of all is 'F' and taxable income and tax due thereon matches with your computation, file rectification correctly once again to seek full refund.

06 December 2013 Otherwise, you can seek appeal before CIT(Appeals) under section 246A(1)(a) or move a writ in jurisdictional High court because revision cann't be sought for under section 264 since 143(1)intimation is not an 'order'.
