20 January 2010 Dear sir/madam,

I am in final of ca, appearing in may and nov 2010 for each group. Working in a ca firm in bangalore. I have lot interest in It and have some amount of knowledge. (though unofficial, i have diploma in it ,but that is a very basic one, i have some more knowledge than that. ) . Now i run a website with 5 other fellow . I want to make a carrier where IT will be with my ca. specifically i want to go managerial level where i can contribute in organisation stretgy. but as i have not official degree in IT i am in a confused state. please advice me how to appproach. I have also a M.COM and not at 30. thanks. tapash, assam/bangalore

20 January 2010 Hi Tapash, its always best to persue what ur mind says, so go ahead with wht u want, besides u can complete ur ca course and then work in ERP/SAP implimentation. u need to have knowledge/experience in this area. So go ahead....

20 January 2010 In my opinion; first you should complete your CA qualification.

Results of CA Finals are tough now! In CA Final (old course) 85% of students have failed in Accountancy !

Because of introduction of ATC; soon after 2-3 years; the Institute may make mandatory for each and every company to prepare financial statements under the authority of one ATC.

So you can assume the role of Institute for "allotting" more qualification to CA Final Students in near future.

In India; we already have the highest number of CA in world !

After CA only; you would be able to give more justification to IT Course (which you like).
