Issuing form-16 with stamp signature

09 February 2012 Dear sir,
I have to issue form-16 to 800 employees can I make the stamp of my signature because manually it is very difficult to sign each employee's form-16,please help me by quoting the rules under which it is permissible.

09 February 2012 You could sign the same with digital signature.. the software which you use to generate the same may be contacted as to assisting you to affix your DSC to the FORM 16. You can then just print the same.

09 February 2012 As per CBDT CIRCULAR NO. 2/2007, DATED 21-5-2007, Form 16 can be digitally signed. Try that option for better security reasons.
