dear all,
Our company is in stone manufacturing,we are doing a job work for other company,is it possible that we can issue invoice with service tax amount,as we are not registere
under service tax.
please advice

Without registration you can not issue invoice with service tax. If stone manufacturing is covered under excise excise duty has to be paid for this job work.

In case an assessee has not obtained registration under service tax law issuance of service tax invoice and collection of service tax there on will attract penal provisions. Also the amount collected must be paid to the credit of Govt along with interest and penalty.
