i am planning to provide this services pls suggest me will they suffer service tax

1. sms price alerts and sensex alerts or quotes

2.website designing
3.web listing like yellow pages
4.ads in sms sent to customer

pls help in this regards........

25 July 2009 All items are covered under service tax and you can take shelter under basic exemption if your turnover will not exceed rs.10 Lakhs.

25 July 2009 thank for ur advice sir and small dought if my turnover is think 11 lacks then upto 10 lac turnover is excempt or full 11 lac is liable

25 July 2009 Upto 10 Lacs exempt in current year. You need to pay service tax on Rs. 1 lac only. But remember, next year you will have to pay tax on full amount whatever is charged.
