is maths mandatory in +2 for entrance in c.a.

No its not mandotry as a subject in +2. But you should possess some basic knowledge of the same for clearing CPT.

There is nothing called as entrance now, However the entry level exam after +2 is called as CPT & maths is a complusary subject in CPT, Later in IPCC & Final under the present provisions Maths is not a subject at those exams, But cannot say if the ICAI can Add / Remove any Old / New subjects. ICAI kabhi bhi kuch bhi kar sakta hai
