17 April 2018 I file IT return FY 2016-17 and i does not want to file FY 2017-18 so tell me is it mandatory.

17 April 2018 income-tax act doesn't work on your whims and fancies. If you are liable to file the return as per section 139, then it is mandatory for you to do it. In case you are not required, then you may do as you deem fit.

17 April 2018 You can choose not to file the return only and only if you are not a person liable to file it as per Income Tax Act. For a correct reply, you need to share detail of your income for FY 2017-18
