Is court lawyer fee paid deductible from income?

Following Supreme Court judgement,I got retirementpension and also arrears thereof.The lawyer engazedBy me charged fee of Rs. 36000/- and gave me theReceipt for the same. Is this expense deductibleFrom pension income in the IT Return?
