is it compulsory to write sections in ipcc exam? ??

If you want to take more marks in comparision to other students then it is required to mentioned section in your answer.

If you are 100 percent sure then write otherwise don't..
E.g
Exemption under is HRA 10{13A},
but you wrote 10 {12A}
Then it means you don't know the Section of HRA as well as you don't know anything about 10 {12A}..
Therefore, Examiner have couple of reasons to deduct ur marks...
