12 March 2014 hello Sir/Mam, My brother is in Ipcc, appearing for both groups in may 14, pls suggest best self study books for Accounting & Adv Accounting, law , Audit. Presently he is refering Padhuka's Publication, Author- G sekar & B saravana prasath for Accounts and Adv. Accounting but he is finding difficult to understand some chapters like Amalgamation, Partnership, hire purchase, branch accounting. He has not taken any class, Can you please suggest me any other book(s) which is easy to understand and concept clearing as time remaining is very less.also want to know best and easy book for accounting standard other than D.S.Rawat....Thankyou.

12 March 2014 STUDY material by ICAI is at the top. Subsequest to that, try Sukumar Bhattacharya for those topics in Accountancy

12 March 2014 Mr Sagar 1st preference is study materials provided by the Institute, coz almost 90% topic in examination is covered from Practice Manual & Study Material. U can take Munish Bhandari (best book 4 law)
Surbhi Bansal (best 1 for Audit).

And ur brother can learn much more from group studies. They r very effective & working. Many big things r cleared from grp. stdys with frnds....
