08 July 2010 How to update quantity / price details for investments purchased in Tally...i know how to update the same in case of inventories however how can i do the same if i have to consider the stocks bought as investments..? Pls advice..

08 July 2010 My suggesstion, You can maintain the same while creating the investment ledger you give "yes" for option " Inventory values are effected and create under invenotory the investment stock details. But finally it will hit your stock valuation also, you need to exclude the same while stock valuation

08 July 2010 In addition to what u said it was also needed to create script names separately in inventory so as to get those details while passing the entry for investments bought else i could not find option to enter script wise details...however as u said we need to exclude / choose "No" for integrating accounting & inventory option.
I guess this is possible for companies that do not deal with any other inventory & else it could be problem if integration has to be done...
