am a taxpayer, can i invest my income after tax in my wife name she is house wife having PAN . If yes what is the maximum amount can be invested. Is their any specific way of investing.

10 May 2010 If the amount invested by u in ur wifes name is a gift given then the income earned on the will be liable for clubbing in ur hands.

If the same is given as a loan then income earned on the same will be taxed in her hands only.

There is not limit on the amount.
