Intimation u/s 143(1) of the income tax

07 February 2019 According to form 26AS the total TDS for the AY 2018-19 was Rs. 42313/-, but the intimation has come stating that there is a mismatch in TDS and it was only Rs. 36643/- hence asking for another payment of Rs. 6560/- over and above what i have already paid in ITR.
In the intimation they have put two TDS transactions for supporting the mismatch stated.
In form 26AS all the TDS depositing transactions have booking status as 'F' and i have checked thrice that TDS total is Rs.42313/- in form 26AS.
Gurus please help at the earliest for what to do and how to reply for this intimation.

07 February 2019 just check, by any chance, while filing the ITR, you have mis spelt any of the TAN

07 February 2019 But there are multiple transactions of TDS for the same TAN number, the total TDS against 1 TAN is 22320 but out of that mismatched TDS is only 5328, rest 16992 is matched.

07 February 2019 then please ask that TAN to REVISE the TDS return

07 February 2019 According to my knowledge if that transaction has come in form 26AS which i have downloaded from TRACES website so that money has already reached IT deptt. since since status of booking is 'F' (final). Still can it be an error from bank's side whose TAN is there in transaction ?
