11 December 2010 Hi All,

Am a MBA in Finance & working as Asst. Mgr - Accounts in a MNC. I wish to go for CA. Can it be possible because I have heard that it requries regular articleship from a regd. CA for 3 yrs, but am a working guy & having my family dependent on me & my salary. If I go fo this articleship I have to leave my job which is not possible. Can anyone suggest me what to do in this case.

11 December 2010 3 Year Articleship is must for appearing in CA Final exams...Unfortunately there is no escape route...Job and articleship is not possible simultaneously.

Wait for other sound opinions.

11 December 2010 Yup, 3 years articleship is compulsary, there is no other way to it... But i think there is one good option.., if u manage to get ur articleship registered under big4 firms, u can get a handsome stipend..., not as high as salary but good as 10,000 as well..... If u nd ur family is ready to struggle for next 3 years, then can think of going for CA...
