27 November 2017 If your liability is above 10k and you can't make any advance tax then the interest is applicable... But, Your query is not cleared...

27 November 2017 I am asking is there any way out to get detailed computation of interest u/s 234 B & 234 C as appearing in intimation u/s 143 (1).

I am not asking about limit to attract interest u/s 234 B 234 c !!

The return was filed duly on time and taxes were paid. However, when intimation u/s 143(1) was received, certain interest u/s 234 B 234 C is being shown. I am asking, does Income Tax provide detailed computation as to how interest was calculated , because the amount of interest which I have calculated is different from intimation u/s 143(1).

28 November 2017 there is no detail available for interest calculation nor any way by which you get the same. You have to calculate on your own and compare with order of ITD. Till now, i din't find any difference in tax nor interest calculation.
