CAN INTEREST ON LATE PAYMENT OF SERVICE TAX BE PAID BY UTILISING CENVAT CREDIT.

No.Interest can not be paid from Cenvat credit balance.If you refer to the relevany Rule reg utilisation of cenvat credit,it will be clear.Interet for delay payment of Central excise duty also can not be pauid by CC balance.ca.sagar mal pareek 9824346469,bharuch
