27 April 2023 DEAR SIR, ONE OF MY FRIEND'S WHO HAS A PPF ACCOUNT WHICH COMPLETED 15 YEARS ON 31/3/2023. HE HAS DECIDED TO CLOSE THE PPF ACCOUNT. WHETHER HE WILL GET ANY INTEREST FROM 1/4/2023 TILL THE DATE OF CLOSING OF THE PPF A/C, SAY, 28/4/2023? THANKS & REGARDS

If he closes on 01.05.23, he will get interest for 1 month, but no interest if he closes the acc on 28.04.23.
