Whether Interest paid on loan taken for purchase of shares can be capitalised to the cost of shares or can be claimed as an expense ?

If shares are held as investment debit to capital account.
If shares are held as stock in trade - claim the expense.
If shares are held as stock in trade - claim the expense.
