Interest on late payment of tds

30 September 2013 We have deducted TDS on 30/06/2013 & paid the same on 09/07/2013 only 1 day delay as 07 july 13 is sunday. we have received intimation from TDScpc charging interest for 2 months delay in this case pls guide as only 2 dyas late only 1 month inerest is to be charged according to me. pls gudie
