Hi,
Please tell me wheather interest on loan taken for constuction of hoause property can be claimed by the daughter even though the house property is in the name of mother and the loan has been taken in the joint name of mother and daughter.

It will be decided by the ownership percentage. In case nothing is mentioned in the documents, claim the interest only in proportion to the amount paid by the respective co-owner.
