If a dealer regd. Under vat act but not in cst act then is he elegible for purchase goods from out side state at sale invoice and also do entry in his books of accounts?

For interstate sale or purchase CST number is compulsory. you can't enter in purchase or sale transaction with other state on paper. Otherwise penalty provisions are there.

he can get the purchases under cst act.but he cannot get the from C from the deptt.
