i am vat and cst dealer at pondichery. i want to purchase an item from mumbai but the mumbai dealer doesn't have cst registration.
is it possible for us to purchase from them. if yes, what is to be done

Yes. you can purchase with paying full VAT in Mumbai and bring the goods here in Pondicherry
