i government servant & my father is farmer so i want to export agriculture product out of India & father haven't PAN card so i can not get IE (import export) number .
my question is can i use my PAN CARD NUMBER for getting IE number for business / export purpose ? so kindly guide me what i do

06 May 2016 if your father is the one who is doing agriculture, it is better you get PAN in his name and then apply for I/E code.

06 May 2016 If you use your PAN card Govt permission will be required being Govt employee. Get a PAN card in your father's name you will get it within a month.

06 May 2016 you have to apply for PAN in name of your father, due to you are govt employee, and you cannot do any other work and also income of export will include in your hand.
