14 August 2013 thankyou sir! also can you please tell me how to communicate this to my ca(principal)

14 August 2013 You can only request to your principal to give permission to attend coaching classes. On the basis of above mentioned regulation, you can not claim leave for classes.

16 August 2013 sir, can my present principal deny my proposal for ind. training. and also how should i intimate my present principal.

01 August 2024 Your current principal can indeed have a say in your industrial training, but there are steps and protocols to follow. Here’s how to handle the situation:

### **1. Principal’s Consent:**

- **Denial Possibility:** Your principal can deny your proposal if they have valid reasons, such as concerns about your workload or the timing of your departure. However, the principal's consent is generally not a formal requirement for applying for industrial training. The key aspect is ensuring that you meet the ICAI’s criteria for industrial training.

### **2. How to Intimate Your Principal:**

- **Formal Notification:**
- **Timing:** Inform your principal as early as possible, ideally a few months before your intended start date for industrial training. This allows adequate time for transition and adjustment.
- **Format:** Submit a formal letter or email to your principal. Clearly state your intention to pursue industrial training, the reasons for it, and the proposed timeline.

**Sample Letter/Email to Principal:**

**[Your Address]**

Dear [Principal’s Name],

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you of my intention to undertake industrial training as part of my CA Final curriculum. As you are aware, I have completed [number] years of my articleship and would like to utilize the remaining period for industrial training.

I am planning to start my industrial training from [proposed start date] and continue until [proposed end date]. This opportunity will provide me with valuable exposure to [specific areas of interest or learning goals] and will complement my overall professional development.

I will ensure that my responsibilities and duties at the firm are managed effectively during this transition period. I am open to discussing any concerns you might have and would appreciate your support in facilitating this process.

Please let me know if we can arrange a meeting to discuss this further. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Yours sincerely,

### **3. Dealing with Principal’s Concerns:**

- **Addressing Concerns:** If your principal has concerns or objections, discuss them openly. You might need to demonstrate how you plan to manage your workload or how your training will not affect your current responsibilities.

- **Transition Plan:** Offer to help with the transition process by training someone else or providing a plan for your responsibilities during your absence.

### **4. ICAI Notification:**

- **Form Submission:** Once you have the consent from your principal (if required) and have secured a place for industrial training, you will need to submit the Industrial Training Form to ICAI. This form will include details about your training organization and the duration of your training.

- **ICAI Procedures:** Follow the ICAI guidelines for applying and getting approval for industrial training. Ensure all required forms are completed and submitted as per ICAI’s requirements.

### **Summary:**

- **Intimate Early:** Notify your principal well in advance.
- **Formal Communication:** Use a formal letter or email to communicate your intention.
- **Address Concerns:** Be prepared to address any concerns your principal might have.
- **Follow ICAI Process:** Complete the necessary ICAI forms for industrial training.
