Income tax return not filed for fy 09-10 and 10-11

05 July 2013 Dear Experts,

I missed filing IT Return for FY09-10 and FY10-11. As per my calculations, I need to pay around 8000 tax for FY09-10, wile I am expecting refund of around 20000 for FY10-11.

E-filing website is not allowing me to upload the return file saying end date is over.

How can I file these returns now?

05 July 2013 Have you filed the return of AY 2012-13 and AY 2013-14 ? If yes- then that's ok.

Income -tax department will take 8000 from you and will not refund Rs 20000. Still you will like to file the return ?

If yes- make an application to CIT. You may refer Section 119.
