04 July 2013 IF INDIVIDUAL PERSON HAS SALARY INCOME LESS THAN RS. 500000/- AND TERM DEPOSIT INTEREST INCOME AND OTHER INTEREST INCOME (EXCEPT SAVING BANK A/C AND PPF INTEREST INCOME)IS MORE THAN RS 10000/- FOR F Y 2012-13. IN WHICH RETURN HE SHOULD FILE INCOME TAX RETURN ? ITR-1, ITR-2, ITR-4 PLEASE ADVICE ME IMMIDIEATELY REGARDING THIS WITH INCOME TAX DEPT. RECENT AMENDMENT IN MAY -2013.

06 July 2013 THANKS FOR REPLY BUT THERE IS RECENT AMENDMENT THAT IF INTEREST IS MORE THAN RS 10000/- (OHTER THAN SAVING BANK A/C) THEN ITR-4 MUST BE FILED . PLEASE CLEAR IT (AMENDMENT IS IN MAY-13)

06 July 2013 In notification, there is such class. incase you are showing winning from lottery income & loss under other source, then ITR -2 apply

you can file ITR-1, unless your exempted income is more than Rs.5000
