hi..is it compulsory for every person who is earning money to file an income tax return.?

1. For an individual, filing income tax return is mandatory if the total income BEFORE deduction u/s 80C, 80D, etc EXCEEDS the exemption limit.
2. Salaried persons are exempt from filing income tax return, subject to certain conditions.
However, it is beneficial to file the income tax return.
