How & where can one follow up for income tax refund in case of online return? People in concerned income tax wards are informing that the return is assessed at a central office located at Bangalore. Hence, one can not follow up at concerned ward offices. If that is true, then whom to contact & how?

If the ward officer himself states this then the same is true i. e. if he had told to u first hand and not via via. If not then visit the officer for further follow up.
