Income tax notice received section 142(1) for ay 2012-13

07 May 2013 Dear All,
My wife is House Wife and her total taxable Income for Financial Year is less than 190000/-.She had received notice although her Taxable INCOME is less than 190000/- (Financial year 2011-12)
What to do shall she write letter to ASSE Officer or What .The notice say you are assesable under income tax act 1961 and need to file return in appropriate form in rule 12 of income tax act .The letter even mention A blank form is enclose but no such form is enclosed .
Please advice how to reply for such notice

22 June 2013 Have you filed the return for your wife? If not then file the return. In my opinion you have not filed the Return for your wife for the assessment year 2012-13. So file it with the actual income might be below taxable limit.
