15 January 2016 I had paid demand for income tax 3 days ago.Nd by mistake i paid same amount of demand again And sbmit the same for rectification in both the case Now how can i get my money back pls help me as soon as possible

15 January 2016 Rectify the return online u/s 154 updating tax payment details(provide all tax paid challans)Make sure you have quoted valid bank details .

Amount inexcess of demand will be refunded to your bank account mentioned

Contact your bank and request for rectification of change of A.Y to current A.Y IN YOUR TAX PAID CHALLAN ,if you are tax payer in current assessment year.contact your bank immediately

15 January 2016 Thank you sirBut tell me in how many days i can file rectification under section 154Right now my both challans are not refected in 26ASShould i wait for no demand status or should i proceed after reflection of challan in 26 AS
