14 August 2015 I opted self study for direct taxation for ca final.. I am referring t.n manoharan book. My doubt is there are no. Of case laws under each section specially for pgbp and capital gains.. Do i need to study and remember each and every case law??

Or is it sufficient if i study case laws from icai selected case laws material which is issued 3mon before exam?? Please help me

14 August 2015 u need to understand all case laws, as in recent exams Icai had asked cases in exams which are not there in specific case law lists...

so I wil suggest to study all

14 August 2015 It wil sufficient if u remember the content of the case... if u know the exact name.. then only quote it in exams.. else content will help you to fetch scores
