12 May 2015 i have received 50000 interest on FD and the bank had deducted TDS at 10% ie 5000 rs.i have forgot to submit the form 15g during the financial year.

now i want to file the tax return to get back my tds amount which was deducted.

which form i have to use that is ITR 1 OR ITR 2.

and i get income from home tuitions and embroidery work at home so i want to show that income also..under which head of income...which sheet and which column i have to show.

12 May 2015 u need to file itr 4 as you doing business and claim tds in it.

Actually, this is my aunt's income.
She got int on FD and home tuition fees and embroidery work charges at home only.

shall i use the form itr 2 or itr 4

12 May 2015 tuition fees or embroydary work shall be construed as business income as per income tax act so i suggested itr4

I have opened the ITR 4 ---SCHEDULE BP--COLUMN NO : 24 :
Any other income not included in profit and loss account/any other expense not allowable (including income from salaary, commission, bonus and interest from firms in which an individual/ HUF/ Prop. concern is a partner)

Can i show in this column
From tuition fees and tailoring charges

sorry for the questions.

it is not a big business just like a part time work from home ie tuitions and embroidery work.

Can i use itr 2 instead of itr 4--> Schedule OS --1 (B) Interest Gross Amount 1 (d) ROW No(2) saying income from home tuitions and embroidery work charges
