Dear CA's!
I need a small clarification on obtaining Firm Regn no as per latest ICAI notification.
I have a COP in my individual name and practicing in my individual name. Should i apply for Firm Regn No? As i understood, the Firm Regn No is required only for Proprietorship & Partnership including LLP Firms but not for the individuals. Pls clarify?

Yes firm is for proprietor or partnership not for individual if you want to practice as individual than firm registration is not required.
