20 February 2013 If an employee agrees to work for free for his employer,does any salary accrue to him? Is it chargeable to tax?

20 February 2013 Even if employee works for free minimum wage rate would be applicable.That person would be called as as apprentince. So you can show his salary in the tax-free limit( as you are paying the minimum amount which is not chargeable to tax)
