IEC online application

26 February 2011 Can one apply for a IEC online? Is the issued IEC a physical certificate or just a number? If applied online does it come to the company address via mail? How long does the process take if all documents are in order?

26 February 2011 Policy Circular No 10 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 31/12/2010 is silent on the issue raised by you.
In IEC (Online help) containing 38 pages is also silent on the issue.

BEFORE ISSUE IEC CODE, CONCERNED RLA /CLA(DGFT, SCRUITNISED BANK ACERTIFICATE & etc DOCUMENTS AND ISSUED THROUGH SPEED POST IN RESPECT OF SEND THE EMAIL.

after submit online iec file u will be also submit offline .
