Dear Team,
We got IEC (Import Export Code) certificate during 2003 and after that no imports we done from the begining. But, we are planning to import some itme in current year.
My doubt, whether IEC code get expire or we can use the same number now also.
one more, at time application for IEC code, we have given one bank number, but the said bank account now closed.
How can i update current bank details in IEC certifcate.
Please help...matter is little urgent.....

IEC certificate shall be valid.. you make make a application for amendment for IEC with the DGFT

IEC code is for full life time till the company is in existence.
if your Account is closed, contact bank for verification if they have closed your EEFC account .
if they closed u will be liable for Amendment in IEC code of form anf-2a fee will be rs. 200.00
