21 March 2009 An assesse who has failed to filed ROI for the Assessment Years 06-07, 07-08,& 08-09 can again file the same in A.Y.09-10?

Also if the income of such person in all above mentioned A.years is below the taxable limit then whether he should liable to file return of respective assessment years?

21 March 2009 Every year assmt. is separate. If the taxable income in any particular year is within exemption limit than the assessee is not liable to file the return. Provided he is not liable to file return under one by six scheme.

21 March 2009 Since your income is below taxable limit you need not file Income Tax Return.However Income Tax Return can be filed even income is below taxable limit.
